Honey is a product of flowers
but is collected by Bees.
Those bees which if sting
will give enough pain to suffer.
And a few number of stings of
Epis Dorsata species of Bees
is enough to kill a person.
So poisonous they are.

So when Bees collect Honey
it gets mixed with their Saliva.
A very little amount of poison
is always there in honey.
Poison is Ushna,
means it is full of heat.
Still Honey is Sheeta, means
honey is of cold properties.
When it comes in contact with
heat, the action is opposite to
the basic quality of Honey.

And also it is of similar
quality of the poison present
in it which comes from Bees.
So by Saamanya Siddhanta
it increases or activates the
properties of Poison in honey.

So better avoid the contact of
heat with honey.
