Doctor's Misery

Patient: I have this joint pain since many years, please give something so that it just goes away.

Doctor: You have to take medicines continuously.

P: Whatever you give, I will take.

D: Okay, take this med.

P: Oh, no no Doctor, I have tried this, it doesn't work; give me someone else.

D: Okay, then take that.

P: I have taken that also, even that doesn't work. Give something for external use.

D: Okay then apply this oil

P: That didn't reduce pain last time.

D: Then apply this liniment

P: That causes too much irritation.

D: Take this powder, add water and make paste for external application.

P: That is sticky, and is very uncomfortable

D: okay, just apply the dry powder.

P: How will it give property result then?

D: Use hot fomentation

P: That causes sweating. I don't like sweat. Give some internal medicines only.

D: Take this powder and make Kadha.

P: I don't have time for that.

D: Take this Aasav.

P: It has self generated alcohol in it. And I don't drink.

D: Take this powder with milk.

P: I have tried, it doesn't with either.

D: Who told you to take that?

P: I searched on internet.

D: Then what should I do now?

P: Whatever you give, I will take.
